The game has a large footstep in the PC game community, and also has a ton of great memes. Even if you’ve never played the game, the media surrounding Team Fortress 2 is enough to lure in curious players. Ever since it released in late 2007, it’s been chugging along, bringing with it a huge amount of playability, lore and memes. Not to mention that there is only a strange shovel and strange pan for Soldier, so.Team Fortress 2 is an amazing game. Given that I have a whole sea of trading opportunities, I think that should factor into the trade. These alternatives include:Īlbeit, they are more expensive, but I am getting more glitz and glamour. I will also add that given the shear amount of strange alternatives to the bat, I think a trader would be happy to lower his standards.

The way I see it, the prices should be between the traders and free of outside input. Of course, I was still a few months new to the game. Lost a nice Vintage Tyrolean from a scammer. I lost a strange hat worth a LOT of money because I didn't price check properly (it was from a summer crate and I couldn't find a price anywhere) so I appreciate that these people help keep others from getting sharked. I also don't think you expect everyone to determine how much an item is worth because that is how you get screwed. You probably are aware of this already since you probably buy things from a store. However Joe has 10 of the same strange weapon and he will trade them for a single scrap metal. Just because I REALLY love my strange weapon and I think its worth everything to me then I wont trade it unless you give me 20 keys. Sure they are both tomatoes but they don't have the same value which is determined by how rare an item is to get. Why would I make an uneven trade? Why would I give you 1 tomato for one of your cherry tomatoes? The reason why no one will trade you is because metal is the basic currency of the game which is also govern by supply and demand. These websites basically determine that rarer items are worth more and keep track of it. Well the value of an item is determined by supply and demand. Trading should be based on value to the traders, not how easy it was to make a sale. People take other peoples' suggestions and act like they are retail price. Other guy- : "BP.tf says the bat is worth a ref and yours is. Me-"If I have 2 strange Shovels and you have 2 strange bats, I say we trade 1:1." People just see a number and ask for that amount.

The website takes the whole trading aspect out of trading, you know. It isn't a store where prices are regulated. Smee):I don't like the whole concept of price checking. That aside, how trustworthy do you think that website is? I don't abide by price checks personally because unless you are a retailer, your idea of how much something is worth means nothing to me. Backpack.tf is one of the most commonly used price checks. With more supply and little demand, what reserves an idiot the right to charge so much and put it up as if it was official? This goes for all the bot killer weapons. For crying out loud, who thinks he can charge so much for so little? There are hundreds of botkillers and regular stranges.

WHAT? I can get a botkiller for cheaper and they come with cool looking heads. I'm not talking about strange shotgun (which will hopefully be in a crate soon), but the basics like the S. I swear, the owners of some of the default stranges are crackheads.
